This is an image of fog rising above the Yellowstone River early in the morning in Hayden Valley. I love the mood of this image. It shows the coldness of the air and just looking at it brings the smell of the sagebrush to my nose. I always knew that riding a motorcycle in the early morning with humidity will fog up the facemask on a helmet in second. I proved it again today! And, lifting it up so I can see allows some pretty cold air to hit the face. If I wasn’t awake earlier I sure am now. I will grab some shots this morning then head south for Teton Park.
