I left Everett this morning and heading for the National Parks. John suggested taking a road near Bellingham call the Chuckanut Road. What a neat ride. This photo is looking down on the bay. It is low tide and you could see the oyster rows in some places. After connecting back with Interstate 5, I headed east along Washington 20 through the northern Cascades. What a beautiful ride it was this day. I stopped at the top of the pass and took a short half mile hike to get a few photos. I stopped at Winthrop, Washington and camped at a KOA. Another motorcyclist from British Columbia was camped next to me and was on his first camping tour. That is another aspect of this type of traveling is meeting all the people.
