We have had a very wet and heavy spring snowstorm along the northern Front Range of Colorado. Of course the damage such a storm brings this late in spring can be massive. I sat yesterday in my condo reading writing and a pot of soup on the stove, making my home smell wonderful. Every so often I could hear tree branches cracking from the weight of the heavy snow. This morning I ventured out and took this image along Shields Avenue and the campus of Colorado State University. You can see from this image some branches strewn along Shields and in the middle is a tree completely uprooted and lying the parking lot.
