When classes are in session at Colorado State University, these racks are full with every conceivable bicycle you can think of, color, shape, style and brand. So, when I rode across campus yesterday and saw the empty racks at the dormitories, I had to stop and take a shot.

Well, the fire season in Colorado has started. As I rode home I could hardly make out the mountains due to the haze. The closer I came to my condo the more I realized the haze was really smoke. I started smelling it. So, when I got home I checked and to my dismay, Colorado has three fires burning: one near the Royal Gorge, one near Black Forest and one in the Rocky Mountain National Park.
