It was raining today when I arrived home from a 4-day trip and discovered it had been raining for the last couple of days.The ground was soaked, spongy to walk on, there was lots of standing water and many of the creeks were full and over-flowing. Later in the afternoon the rain stopped so I headed to Inniswood Gardens in search of rain drops on flowers. I was not disappointed and got in some nice shooting time. Needless to say, after bending down on my knees with camera and tripod, my pants were soaked from the wet ground. You know, photographers can get lost with time, so before I knew it the clouds moved back in and it started to rain. I made a mad dash to the car. Well, I had walked farther into the gardens than I thought it so took me a while to reach the car. Yes, I got wet but it was worth it.
