We had 2 of these moths in our flower bed. My daughter said "Mom, I didn't know we had hummingbirds!" We live in the very upper, East corner of South Dakota. I caught one in a net and put it in a jar so we could get a better look at it. I then later released it and have not seen either one of them since.
