Angels over Atlanta 2004

On May 8th and 9th 2004 the Blue Angels F/A 18's made a return to Metro Atlanta after an 18 year absence. In 2 days approx. 120,000 people made their way to NAS Atlanta for the event. The event also marked the last appearance of the F-14 Tomcat (see page 2 photos) in Atlanta.

Very nice pics. By the way, the F-16 is Air Force, not Navy.

True. The Blues do use the F/A-18 but the F-14 and F-16 did separate shows. Apparently the F-14 will no longer be doing air shows after this year. I really didn't hear a reason why. Sad. The pilot did a great show.
