We had to do the whole thing in whispers, but our driver scored some real-live booze for us that night (strictly forbidden throughout the country). Other stuff -- stuff that's forbidden here -- was readily available. But booze was nowhere to be seen for weeks and weeks. It was awful and had stuff floating in it, but it was brown and had a hell of a kick to it and, before long, we got real, real drunk.
