While this image is not necessarily that great, it is difficult to show the enormous ruins in small artsy shots and I wanted a larger image to represent Kells Priory. The site is phenomenal and overwhelming. I took many more pictures of this place, but felt this showed a nice portion of the site, considering. Kells Priory is surrounded by sheep pastures and appears to be in the process of renovation. The town is small with only one pub next to the church, but it is beautiful and the site was worth the visit.
