Ahaaaaaaa....was the church open.? Did you see the leper's window, or the magnificent organ from Eaton Hall.? Or the marble tomb of W.O. Stanley.? Or the mediaeval paintings and carvings.?
St Cybi was a 6th century Celtic missionary monk who established a monastery on the site in the 6th century.!!
The churchyard is surrounded by walls of an ancient Roman fortress, if i just knew where the church was i'd go and have a look for myself.!!!
