We decided while Gina was off on medical leave that we'd take a little vacation somewhere it was cooler. I picked out Eagle Nest Lake State Park located at Eagle Nest, New Mexico. The temperatures were great. Day time highs between 78 and 82 and night time lows between 32 and 40. Due to the dry conditions, we couldn't have a campfire, but that was OK. It was rather windy here and it was so bad that it broke our first tent within a couple days and we had to go find a Walmart and get a new one.

We had a blast fishing and doing some sightseeing. Saw many beautiful sunsets and sun rises. Even got a awesome shot of the moon going down when the sun was coming up. If you get a chance this is a great place to go and have fun. Hope to get to go again soon....
