Select roster photos of Montana Rail Link's 4427 cu. ft. Pullman-Standard 3-Bay hoppers. Having surpassed their 40 year lifespan from original SLSF build dates, this series of hoppers was slated for retirement from the MRL in early 2011. Numerous examples remained as late as October 2015 in the yard at Livingston, MT.

Bill, the MRL primarily used these older 45000 series hoppers for processed lime shipments out of a plant just north Townsend, MT.
