I was viewing Harry Wong's PBase photos from Bay 2015 meet. You had a BNSF hopper with a solar unit on side. Was solar unit purchased or did you scratchbuild it? I think it looks so great, I would like to do that on my layout.
Found this site when googling MRL Gas Local. Great photos of the tank car consists. Question. Do you have any photos of the facilities at Missoula or Thompson Creek? Would like to model one or the other for our modular layout.
I am using your photos of the CONX "gas cans" train as a reference for making decals. The closeups of these cars were especially helpful. But I can't find any closeups of the ends of those cars. Would you happen to have either a closeup photo of the end, or do you know what is written on the end of the car?
today I found youre site, while searing for MRL impression for my model railroad in z-scale. OK, now I´m seat here in front of my computer for hours an hours to see all the photos of MRL and the modelrailtoads. Thnak you so much for your work! It´s phantastic. I stored youre side at my favorite links, to meet you as much as I can. I´m Markus from Germany, a member at the us-z-lines. The us-z-lines are fans of american railroading in z-scale. we are from many countrys out of europe. Some of my photos you are able to find find at markus-gaa.medion-fotoalbum.de. Merry christmas and a happy new year. Markus
Hey Rob,nice to see you at the show how did you do with the tickets i gave you?...my buddy posted the SP chair car on ebay tonite, wish i won that!! lol Eric
I'd like to know where you got the time to do all 47 engines. What a beautiful job.
I have never seen anything so spectacular. You are a master modeler. I can barely get one engine done in a month or so. I have a layout in my basement but it must be great to belong to a club that big. Excellent work. There is just so much to see.
Thanks for the paint tip. Thats great.
It was good talking to you and Dave today. Sounds like it was a great trip.
your trains look awesome,
just started out myself with a new mrl fleet, got any tips for me?

Great models and video. Just wondering, dose MRL run any unit grain trains with all Mrl blue covered hoppers? Would make a great train to go with my BN unit grain train.
Hi Robert. You have great pictures and feature great stuff. Is their any chance you may post diagrams of your layout?
