It's time for another BNSF Earth Worm on the layout. This time we have three BNSF SD70MACs and a MRL SD45 on the head end. 60 cars back is a five set of MRL SD45 helpers cut in 2/3 deep. Thats 16,800 HP up front and an additional 18,000 HP in the middle. The way is should always be! Image captured at http://www.CaliforniaSouthern.org
Smoking up the grade, BN 9512 leading the charge.
BNSF 8814 looking a little better after it's little dump.
MRL SD45 352 was added behind the MACs for a little extra pulling power.
Up the hill...
Crossing over...
Past the S...
100 cylinders coming 'round the bend.
Imagine the sound right about now. MRL 382, 1st out.
MRL 314 next.
MRL 344 in the middle.
Another view of MRL 314 s it passes.
MRL 331 is fourth.
MRL 377 on the back.
Pouring it on, Run-8!
Cliff shot of the helpers around Winchester Curve.
Yes!! Definitely make a DVD!! All your MRL gear looks fantastic!! I am an avid MRL fan and I cannot get enough!! Addicted??!! No way, I can quit whenever I want! =0
