Gangtok is a nice city of Sikkim I stayed there 7 days during my tour to North East. I think sikkim is the heven of the india.............very nice place....sikkim is the best momentum of my life..........

Hi , It was so nice to go through the pics. It reminded me of my hometown....I feel like visiting Darj soon. One observation: The major covered areas were Gompas.....would be good if other pics are also added. It will enrich your photo gallery but it was very nice of you to think out of the blue and took beautiful pics of the Queen of Hills.:-)

I spent a week travelling through sikkim about 5 years ago and to this day I regret not taking a camera with me on that expedition. At the time I was trying not adulterate my experience by pausing to take pictures. But your pictures are simply spectacular!

These photos are amazing! I lived and taught in Pakang for 3 months this year and could never get such beautiful pictures of my babies. You have done them proud and your photos bring tears to my eyes as I miss them all dearly. If only i could take such pictures i would consider myself gifted. I am amazed at the theme and composition, with a digital camera i used to think those digital slr are only gimmick but the results are awesome, i used to get my negatives scanned for converting my pics to digital. Very good gallery. Some striking shots. And you have avoided most of the Indian picture cliches. Good eye, and you seem to appreciate that subtlety can be more effective than hitting someone over the head.
