A happy soldier, on top of Pike's Peak - Colorado

Would rather have been home, but got to spend a weekend in Colorado Springs on the way to being mustered out of the Army at Fort Carson, Colorado.

Clyde Crews served in 8th army in supply room when he returned from Hospital in Japan.

I enjoyed seeing your pictures very much. My husband died 4 and half years ago and was in Korea in 1952 part of 53 in 40th Division 223 Reg. He went on a patrol and got frostbite after wading icy river helping wounded and was sent to Japan for evaluation and recoup then sent to Taegue and Pusan for schooling then back to Seoul where he worked in supply room. I was only in my teens and saved all his letters, married at 18 when he got back. Thanks again for sharing your pictures

I was with C btry, 11th FaBn from 52 to 53. Came home just before they went back in. Thanks for the pics.
