Rural and Rusty East Texas

Driving through East Texas there are many old, sometimes abandoned homesteads.
The rusty roofs of some of them stand out like beacons along the country roads.
Sometimes we find neat little country towns with their unique buildings and wonderful people.
Then there other things like cars or boats,left to rust and provide a picture opportunity for us.

fantastic documentary of the changing landscape in Texas based on the shapes and conditions of the various buildings, homes and businesses.

Mr Davis I have for a long time wanted to do the same thing that you are doing with the old barns and buildings. For a lot of them I waited to long. I know these buildings ment alot to the family's that used them. Thanks alot for preserving them. You have inspired me to get started before the rest is lost forever. -----Lee
