They were painted in the NATO green/grey scheme. Sorry about your loss. I was stationed at George AFB from 86-90. The grey paint scheme came around about 1987-88. Hope this helps.

Greetings. My brother, Capt Howard Sherman was an EWO with the 562nd TFTS in 1982 and 1983. In September of 1983, Capt Sherman was tragically killed in an automobile accident. I am searching for anyone who may have known him during that period. I am also looking for pictures that would show the aircraft paint scheme during that time period. I can't remember if they were camo or gray. Thanks very much.
