Nice macro shots. I am really impressed with your close-up photos using basic equipments and a lot of patience.
I love your work and I am very impressed with your results from relatively basic equipment.
I am looking forward to getting involved in macro photography.
Thank you for your articles.
May the web spirit stay with you.
Thank you for your comment , Mark !
I am in awe of how much materials and effort you have devoted to your psychology database. A lots of kudos for you! Very very impressive.
superb images, will check your site on regular basis.
I read your page about macro and insects. Something I find very exciting, like you said.. it's like hunting big game. I only have a point and shoot camera, so I get very frustrated. But with patience, sometimes I get some pretty decent shots. One day I hope to get some shots like you have in your galleries. (some day I'll get a decent camera as well) Thanks for taking the time to write out your tips, it really taught me a lot!
Mr. Plonsky. These are amazing works with tons of patience in recording these insects. Thank You.
Great patience in taking macro insect photography. Looking forward to buying some of your images.

Amazing work and a true inspiration to all that love Macro photography
Hi Mark, I really admire your macro photography, maybe one day I'll be just as good as you are!!
EXCELLENT WORK MARK LOVE IT SO MUCH
Kudos!!! wonderful photos!!
You are definitely an inspiration to me because you didn't start with all the high-priced equipment and you have created a magnificent portfolio. The crisp pictures made me appreciate how wonderfully decorated many insects are. I had to wonder, when they look at each other, do they classify one another as attractive or handsome?
Kindest regards, Karen

I've enjoyed a visit to your galleries, especially the macro shots and articles.
I'll return for give you some more comments from time to time.
Amazing close ups.The detail and colours are incredible. I've been trying my hand at insect photography. Nowhere near as successfully. But I will keep persevering.
Great close-ups Mark. I'm a true novice, but this is something to aspire to for sure.
Brilliant work! I am a teacher and these pictures are a fantastic resource. Names of the creature type would be helpful next to the pictures - thanks, Helen
Great photos Mark. Sharp and great exposure. One question, From experience I can see you were quite close to the "models". Other than patience and being in the right place at the right time what tips can you pass along in regard to "capturing" similar images.

Keeping one's faith in the beauty and wonder of life can be pretty challenging these days. When the political and environmental news gets me down, I visit your site for my soul's health. Thank you from Bush's home state.
Ginger sent me the link to your site. Remarkable pictures..... Makes me wanna get off my butt and get a hobby. Give my regards to Leslie and the Fam.

My husband pointed me to your site this morning and I had a lot of fun looking at every single one of your posted images. Awesome work. I am an amateur photographer doing nature and some animals. I have a set of macro lenses that I have yet to use, but I look forward to actually getting out there and having some fun with them. I hope to see more of your work in the future, and will have one of your pictures on my wall soon!
Thanks for a relaxing Saturday!

Your photos are amazing and beautiful. I would love to know about the lens you use for the insect shots---particularly the dragonfly head! WOW!! Keep up the wonderful work, I am always very glad to see others realizing the beauty and wonder of nature.
The brochure would also include a copyright credit for the image in your name.
Let me know.
My name is Nola Blanton, and I am a graphic designer in Denton, Texas. I am currently in the process of designing an environmental studies brochure for the University of North Texas, and would like to include your dragonfly image "12 Spotted Skimmer".
Please let me know if it'd be okay for me to use your image; I won't use it without your permission.
Great Work as always! Hope you are well! M.E. (ryenke)
Verry good pictures, how far are these insects from the lenz when the picture is token??
Thanx for the kind words. I am a relative amateur, but as I continue to collect good shots, I am beginning to consider selling prints.
I found your page from DP Review.
Really very good job with the macros.
Are you doing it proffesionally somehow?
