In later years my dad's family lived here in The Old Jail in Blairsville. Ed Jones, my grandfather was Sheriff of Union County in those days. My dad's job was to feed the prisoners, most of whom were just good old boy moonshiners and such from the hills. They were n'er-do-wells who weren't really very dangerous!
