He's one year old this month, and a real baby in our household. He has no idea he's a bird. And we have no idea if it's "he" or "she" at this point. Skittle's vocabulary includes "up", "prettybird", "hello", "love you" and he will dance by bobbing his head when my younger daughter sings to him.
