“When I fall for someone, I fall for someone. I'm not apologising for that. Don’t ever apologise for that.”
Blancmange Productions presents The Punter’s Siren from 17th February to 5th March at King Cross’ Blood Moon Theatre.
Written by AWGIE winner Gina Schien, The Punter’s Siren is a dazzlingly fast-paced comedy. Jacqui Robson plays Helen, Laura Viskovich plays Linda and direction is by Stephen Carnell.
Set at Randwick Racecourse in the 1960s, The Punter’s Siren sees first-time punter Helen get tapped on the shoulder by an enchanting blonde bombshell. The bombshell is friendly, really friendly. Helen can’t believe her luck. She falls hard. And fast. But is this luck? Or is it design? All bets are off in this story of seduction and manipulation when lust, trust and a pile of cash send Helen and two very familiar companions on the ride of her life.
