Valentino Rossi joined countryman Giacomo Agostini as the most successful premier-class grand prix winner of all-time by recording his 68th victory, in front of his home fans, at Misano on Sunday. The scenes of jubilation that followed will live long in the memory of those who were there. MotoExpress guests stayed in the wonderful stylish town of Pesaro. Our stay coincided with the Pesaro summer festival and guests enjoyed the entertainment and exhibitions that centred on the beautiful historic piazza. For many guests the highlight of the weekend was the visit to Tavullia (Valentino’s home town). We visited Tavullia after Saturday qualifying. The town was painted in Yellow 46’s and flags fluttered in the hot evening breeze. We found the official Rossi fan club and the cafes, also Valentino's home; later we shared Pizza and beer with locals and fellow Rossi fans.
