Was Valentino Rossi's attempted overtake on Casey Stoner evidence of his greatness or as Stoner said to Rossi after the race, 'your ambition exceeds your talent'. No doubt we all have an opinion on the incident. But their is no doubting the calamitous overtake and the bad weather that swirled around the Jerez circuit conspired to give us the most memorable MotoGP in many years. I myself can not think of a more enjoyable race. Aside from the bad weather on Sunday we enjoyed fantastic Andalucian weather for our stay in Seville and our welcome return to the Casa del Maestro boutique hotel. Every evening our small group would meet on the hotels roof top for Sundowners, before going out to explore what is probably Spain's most exciting and beautiful city.
