The times were much simpler, Uncle Miltie a Saint.
Gas cost a quarter, we chewed on lead paint.
A trip to the toy store filled children with glee,
somehow we made it less Xbox or Wii.
Now it's two-thousand seven, the times aren't as tame,
but the things that we value are still much the same.
Whatever you wish for, be it World Peace or pliers,
we hope that you get all your Christmas Desires.
