Travel Through History- Philomont to Lincoln

Pictures in this gallery were taken by J Riley Stewart along Jeb Struart Road, Lincoln Road, Foundry Road, Snickersville Turnpike, Sillcott Springs Road, Telegraph Springs Road, Greggsville Road, Shelburne Glebe Road, Hughesville Road, and Taylor Road in Loudoun County Virginia.

This area of Loudoun County is gently rolling, mostly pasture land. The only towns still existing are Philomont and Lincoln. Cattle farms, hay fields and an occasional horse farm are the predominant agricultural subjects.
