1 WONDERFUL ABRUZZO - PEOPLE & LIFE

Abruzzo is a lovely place in Italy where, People, Places, Nature and Seasons, amalgamate themselves in an ideal way to get future desiderable living conditions and progress, taking experience and culture by the strong presence of the traditions and values of the past, in a wonderful protected environment.
Naturally, this is only a sample of all is existing in Abruzzo and my personal point of view.
I hope that my modest work may help someone to remember or to know for the first time this wonderful place.

both my parents are from castiglione a casauria pescara in abruzzo. i went in 1977 and i loved my parent's hilltop village with a castle that is over 1000 years old. the streets in our village are mostly cobbled. my father's grandfather sante giuliani was the caretaker of the castle. the marchese used to come every summer to his summer residence in castiglione and in autumn or fall he would go back to his home in naples. a lovely village, must visit again soon.

My dear Andrew, non ho parole per commentare le tue foto. Spero solo di riuscire un giorno ad emularti anche se molto a distanza.
