Male Type Snowy Owl Patiently Waits In Field Sometimes for Hours On End

Syracuse, New York's International Airport

I have watched these owls roost from about noon
to 4:00 p.m. and later multiple times over the course of
their stay at our airport. This male Snowy had
awaken probably from something he had heard near
him.
