Mexico: Jalisco and Nayarit

First (2014), a two-week November-December adventure for two friends to the Royal Decameron Hotel Complex in Bucerias
in the state of Nayarit, with a side trip to the Vallarta Botanic Garden south of Puerto Vallarta in the state of Jalisco.

A second adventure in 2015 took us to Chacala, a tiny resort village further north along the west coast,
where we stayed in a small, hillside apartment complex named the Fresh Breeze Inn (< http://freshbreezeinn.com/ >).
For birders, this is a prime site from which to enjoy the incoming migrants in December,
and a seasoned wildlife biologist is often right there to assist with identifications.
