They told me rhubarb would grow here, so our first year, I planted one (it came with 3 strawberry plants, not visible here), and practically immediately
had to build a protective surround for it against the rabbits and deer. During our 5th year we took off the top of the frame, built out of
the same deck-balustrade bars as the rest of it, and it appears to be likin' the sunshine it gets this way!
I doubt we will ever get to enjoy stewed stems from it, and it doesn't appear to be getting any stronger in our broken-rock excuse for soil.
