Looking eastward before sunrise from where we stayed overnight in a wide, quiet pullout on a little road between Elephant Butte State Park (full)
and Lake Caballo State Park (probably also full) near the town of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. We couldn't have asked for a finer place!
