Two or three healthy colonies are growing at the top of the cliff, on the flat amid the mustards and grasses.
I believe these sprouted from the l-o-n-g roots of the ones at the top, much as the cottonwood trees further along the cliff seem to have done.
Since seeing these, I've learned it may be an invasive type of mustard.
