Along "the loneliest road" across Nevada is a small campground alongside an outcrop of rocks that supposedly have petroglyphs. Never mind that we traveled the self-guided tour route and didn't see any of those; we enjoyed the area and the friends we met there enough to come back for a second stay a month later. We'll surely stop there again.
