Great Sand Dunes National Park

Wind is what creates the dunes; wind is a factor in all we do at the park. On the day of our first visit, we also had rain
and gloriously moving clouds. Only a light breeze accompanied us on our second day; we could still see sand moving.

Our next visit, two years later, let us camp there two nights and try some trails.
