With a slow entry drive on a corrugated dirt road on the former path of the Colorado Midland Railroad, Eleven Mile Canyon in Park County, Colorado is a popular destination for fly fishing and camping along the South Platte River. Several campgrounds and a few picnic areas host capacity crowds throughout the summer. We were fortunate to reach it before the peak of the season.
