Badger Basin is a string of fishing access points along the Middle Fork of the Platte River in Park County, Colorado. On our first visit, we stopped at two, both of which have some likelihood of getting revisited with actual fisherpeople (young relatives), but only when the water has stopped running so swiftly after spring runoff. We were most saddened on that first visit to see a beaver's work had been destroyed at the first access; the pond and lodge would have been a fabulous feature for users of the "all abilities trail" system that was built there.
