Scotland is different things to different people. It is an independent country
as it is also part of the United Kingdom along with England, Northern Ireland,
and Wales. A movement to formally separate from the United Kingdom is under
way but many problems must be solved before this happens.

Scotland is also the ancestral home of part of Julie's family so it has
special meaning to us.
