The United Kingdom consists of 4 countries: England, Wales, Scotland,
and Northern Ireland. In this trip, we visited all but Northern Ireland.

We had visited Edinburgh, Scotland, 3 years ago so we decide to skip
the group city tours and go on our own accompanied by our
long-time travel companions, Marlene and Nadine, from Rockville, MD.

Leaving Edinburgh, we travel south to visit the Lake District of
England, the most visited national park in the UK. The surrounding
area offers small towns and country estates surrounded by
numerous lakes and lush forests.
