The museum contains 3 restored Viking ships along with many tools,
sledges, and items from the grave sites.

This Oseberg ship was built almost entirely of oak from before 800AD.
Although coastal seaworthy, it is thought that this design would
not withstand ocean seas as it sank twice on different occasions.
