Our Northern Adventure starts in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden.
One of our 14 travelers has flown in from his home in Ottawa, Canada
while the rest are from coastal California. Everyone knows one or
more other travelers; we know our neighbors from Santa Barbara.

Leaving Stockholm, we take an overnight ferry to Helsinki, the
capital of Finland. An overnight train then carries us far north
to the small town of Inari. The adventure has begun.
