Hanoi as well as the rest of Vietnam is all dressed up for Tet, the upcoming
lunar New Year’s celebration on February 3. There are banners in the street
and flowers in the homes as their biggest celebration of the year approaches.

These large vertical red banners translate to a welcome sponsored by the
Communist Party of Vietnam.
