Plans are made to be changed and at dinner, the captain suggests we make an
unplanned excursion towards the coast of Greenland to see the ice floe in
the Denmark Strait between Greenland and Iceland.

We know we have arrived when at 3:30am we awake with a bump as the
ship encounters the edge of the sea ice.
