Most days involved two Zodiac excursions either to land for hiking or for
exploration by sea. We had relatively calm seas and the air temperature
was in the high 30's to low 40's without much wind making for a
relatively comfortable ride. Even so, camera equipment had to
be protected with waterproof coverings.
