HDR (High Dynamic Range) is a technique to capture an image with an extremely
wide range of brightness, far more than is possible with a modern camera.
The method used here involves software (Photoshop CS5) to process 3 or more
images of the same scene where one or more images are exposed for the shadows,
one for the mid-tones, and one or more for the highlights. The end result may
range from a realistic representation of the scene to one that is far from realistic.
