I drive by this field on a daily basis, my neighbour's land. The crop changes from year to year, a rotation needed to keep the soil in great shape, Looks like it's simply hay this year. Just past those mountains is a HUGE military base, CFB (Canadian Forces Base) Valcartier. The base is about 50 sq. miles, which allows for military exercises on a grand scale, F18, tanks, canons, home to the R22eR (Royal 22 second Regiment, highly trained military personnel in the four seasons (from minus 40C to plus 45C) . The R22R is the only Canadian Military Regiment formed entirely with French speaking members.
