Tim and the hikers left from a trailhead near Champez and hiked through the glacial valley of Val d'Arpette.
Mike and Bonnie drove from Champex to Martiney where they stopped at a nice art gallery. They continued on to the little mountain town of Fin Haut and from there went to meet the hikers. The youngest and oldest of the group arrived looonnng before the others, so the van drove up a bumpy road to meet the rest and shorten their hike. We all stayed at the Hotel Beau Sejours back in Finhaut.
