Baldy Hughes was an army base in the Prince George area, named after it's commander. It
was closed down thirty years ago, and has since been in several different hands.

Therapeutic Community is an older concept in Mental Health. It does have healing aspects that 1:1 counselling and psychotherapy does not. Clients are responsible to the group - they can be confronted by the group. They can also be rewarded, recognized by the group. It feels good to belong to a community. It is a universal human need to be a desired member of a group.
