Image received Honorable Mention in the 2009 San Diego County Fair (Delmar Fair).
Said to be the largest photography contest in the state.
Felt increadibly lucky to have 6 of my 7 submitted images accepted for display.
Half of those received honorable mentions.
Shot at the world famous San Diego zoo, the pink-orange glow in the background and on his feathers is from the reflection of the flamingos in the pond. It really added dimension to this shot.
