I got a weekend off near the end of bootcamp, and bought a camera in a pawn shop. I wandered down to one of the commercial fishing piers, and found the big fish being weighed. The guy had speared it underwater, and he and his brother landed it. He told me that it was a sea bass, but I am sure it has another name. Wish I had written the weight down.
