This barn is on the south side of the cades cove loop road, as as far as I know still standing. A lot of the frame houses and barns were torn down by the park service. I am not a fan of the park service. They act if they own the park, when they are just intrusted to take care of it for the public.

The park service rangers like to bully advanced amature photographers, and will often demand of them to buy a shooting permit. They have also taken film from photographers that did not have a permit. This is not legal. (The taking of the film)

But back in 1977 when this photograph no permits were required.
